Journey With Me
DeTray is an anglicized family name that descends from France and means “the road traveled." I love jewelry, fabric and fashion and I like to think it is in my genes as King Louis XIV is my distant great-grandfather and King Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette are my great-uncle and aunt. My inspiration comes from the roads I have traveled, specifically the Middle East and Central and South America and also from my Hispanic husband who introduced me to a world of Latin music and spicy salsa! My desire is that you will journey with me as I scour bazaars and markets, sharing my passion for creating imaginative pieces of art! As the French sayings goes, "Rester c'est exister mais voyager c'est vivre," to stay is to exist, to travel is to live!
